Global Warming Overview

Hey fellow environmentalists!

The topic about Global Warming is without a doubt very hot nowadays. Everyone seem to know everything about it and everyone can have their own opinion, nevertheless majority of people don't contribute a thing to improve our planet!

Things have gotten bad, really bad. We all know that before mankind existed there had been no such thing as global warming. Even if we look back for just a couple of decades, the differences between now and then are enormous.

If we look at the 10 hottest years ever measured, they have all occured in the last 14 years!
This is mind blowing! Last but not least it's a fact and we are all aware if it. Hell, we feel it! But the consequences of Global Warming differ from place to place. If you happen to be living somewhere near the equator (tropical weather) or near the north pole (polar/sub-polar weather) then you will feel the effect of Global Warming even more. Why is that?
It's because the weather there is extreme, this means that the differences between the seasons are drastic (hot summers and cold winters) and in the case of tropical weather, where there are no seasons at all (summer most of the time), the hot temperatures, abundancy of rain and monsoons. So for the places on earth where the weather is already extreme, tends to get even more extreme! Now we all know how that looks like. We see it everyday in the news.

Natural disasters won't seem to disappear. At least not until we do something!
It may sound hilarious but it's not easy to do something regarding earth conservation.

If you want to make your first move to improve your conservation skills, I would recommend a few things:

  • turning off lights in your rooms after leaving it,
  • buying special conservative light bulbs,
  • turning off variuos household electrical gadgets and devices more often,
  • using solar energy!
  • limited heating of rooms (same for air conditioning).
These are all small but solid actions towards "a better place". You may ask yourself what does this have to do with Global warming? It does concern Global Warming a lot! Just imagine everyone doing this simple steps at the same time. It would decrease energy usage for quite a bit and therefore lower the emissions. I could go on and on. There is some material that i would like to intruduce to you all. It's an e-book called 200 Ways To Stop Global Warming
I recommend that you give it a try. It's cheap for what you get.
